Welcome!
We are an interdisciplinary group engaged in understanding mechanisms of cellular adhesion and signaling, with a focus on physical and mechanical aspects, relevant to health and disease. We employ a variety of approaches including materials sciences, cell biology, molecular biology, imaging, and bioinformatics to dissect mechanisms of cellular signaling with the aim of providing avenues for precision diagnostics and medicine.
Research in our laboratory is funded through CHLS/HBKU internal fund, HBKU Innovation Center, Office of the Vice President of Research, and the Qatar National Research Foundation (QNRF).
